National Offers Free Tyre Ageing Checks
National Tyres is supporting the NTDA’s tyre ageing campaign, launched in August this year, by offering free tyre checks for all customers. The campaign is aimed at consumers to highlight the safety issue of ageing tyres, especially those over 10 years old, which have been linked to serious and fatal road accidents.
Tony Neill, CEO for the Axle Group, commented “Even the most modern tyres using the latest technologies deteriorate with age, and factors such as sunlight and exposure to the environment, poor maintenance and infrequent use can accelerate the ageing process. “We are more than happy to offer free tyre checks to customers; it’s a quick and simple procedure that can offer peace of mind and improve road safety.”
