Michelin-Venturi Electric Vehicle to be Unveiled at Paris Show

On September 12 Michelin announced that it is working together with Monaco based Venturi Automobiles on the production of a new generation electric vehicle. The partnership, says Venturi, enables Michelin to demonstrate the capabilities of its latest innovations on a high-performance vehicle, while enabling the automotive manufacturer to produce a vehicle featuring unprecedented architecture, dynamic qualities and overall technological excellence.

The product of this collaborative venture will be unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, which opens on October 2. A press conference will be held at the Venturi stand at 5:15pm that day by Gildo Pallanca Pastor, president of Venturi Automobiles. Patrick Oliva, Michelin Group director of Prospective and Sustainability Development, will also speak at the event.
