Corvette ZR1 Arriving in UK with Pilot Sport 2

When the Corvette ZR1 arrives in the UK market in October, the US performance car will offer motorists on this side of the pond a hand-built supercharged 6.2 litre V8 motor, a top speed of more than 200mpg, a 0 to 60 time of just 3.4 seconds – and Michelin tyres. The ZR1 comes fitted with Pilot Sport 2 tyres in size P285/30ZR19 for the front and P335/25ZR20 on the rear. The Michelin rubber will be wrapped around 20-spoke wheels featuring a standard sterling silver finish or optional chrome version.

Imports of the ZR1 will not, however, impact greatly upon sales of the Pilot Sport 2. General Motors has confirmed that just two cars will be delivered into the UK this year and only single digit volumes will be available to order for delivery in 2009.
