Conti Announces Personnel Changes
Continental AG has made a number of personnel changes in its Passenger and Light Truck Tires division. On September 1, Nikolai Setzer took over management of the replacement passenger and light truck tyre market for Europe and Africa. He is also responsible for worldwide marketing of the Passenger and Light Truck Tire division. Setzer had been in charge of the worldwide original equipment business for passenger and light truck tyres. In his new position he will report to Continental AG’s vice chairman of the Executive Board, Dr Alan Hippe, who is also responsible for the Passenger and Light Truck Tire division.
At the same time, Karlheinz Evertz assumed management of the worldwide original equipment business for passenger and light truck tyres. He had previously been in charge of the replacement market for passenger and light truck tyres in Europe and Africa, and also reports directly to Dr Hippe in his new role.
On 1 August, Dr Hartmut Wöhler, previously head of Continental’s European commercial business within the ContiTrade unit, assumed management of marketing and sales for the passenger and light truck tyre replacement market in Europe and Africa. Dr Wöhler will continue to be responsible for ContiTrade and will report to Nikolai Setzer.
By implementing these personnel and organisational changes, Conti says it hopes to further strengthen the exchange between the original equipment and replacement market business, as well as linking ContiTrade’s commercial business more closely into the activities of the market organisations.
