Interstate Increases Size Range on the IWT-2

The winter program contains 14 sizes, in one pattern: the IWT-2. These tyre sizes cover a large part of the replacement market for passenger car tires, a market Interstate aims to develop. All the winter offerings from Interstate are e-marked, DOT approved and produced in the newest ISO-certified facilities.

The Interstate Winter IWT-2 is fabricated with a silica compound, providing dependable grip in the most severe winter driving conditions. The IWT-2 has a three-dimensional sipe structure at both shoulders of the tyre. The special structure ensures that the sipes cannot move aside and stick to each other during lateral forces and higher speeds. This feature increases dry road stability, while continuing to offer the flexibility necessary to grip on snow and ice. The special low-noise technology ensures a quieter and longer lasting as well. The winter IWT-2 can be delivered in 14”, 15”, 16” and 17”, with all-new sizes for this season including 165/70R14XL, 195/60R15, 185/55R15XL, 195/55R15, 215/65R16 and 225/55R17.
