“All About Customer Responsiveness”: Cooper Releases New Sizes

Cooper tire & Rubber Co has unleashed a tidal wave of new tyre sizes for high performance and sports utility vehicles, which are – the company states –
“all about performance, customer responsiveness.” The company aims to provide consumers with the added performance and flexibility necessary for drivers in these two sectors.

The Cooper Zeon XSTA is a new asymmetrical, all-season sport truck tire available in 15- and 16-inch (H rated), and 17-, 18-, 22- and 24-inch (V rated). This new line includes fitments for vehicles such as the Land Rover, Jeep, Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes SUVs. The size range covers both original equipment sizes for sport trucks, SUVs and cross-over vehicles, as well as the popular plus-sized fitments. Additionally, the Cooper Zeon XST now offers the 295/30R22 XL size for premier SUVs and cross-over vehicles.

Cooper is now offering ultra-high performance line, the Zeon 2XS in a 205/55R15 V-rated tire as an original equipment replacement for the Toyota Celica, and the 195/55R15 V-rated tire for vehicles like the Honda Fit and Kia Rio.

The Discoverer S/T line was produced for the demands of today’s high-powered, off-road machines and includes some popular fitments for light trucks and SUVs. The 205/80R16 and 205/70R15 outline white letter T-rated sizes have previously only been available on the international market, but these sizes are now rolling in the United States.

The Cooper Discoverer ATR with white outlined script, suited for the 2003-2007 Ford pickup trucks, is now available in the LT275/65R18/C size.

With these added size options to choose from, driving enthusiasts have yet another excuse to spend as much time as possible behind the wheel, not – as Cooper suggests – “giving up a thing.”
