Van den Ban Presents Its Brands

Van den Ban was an imposing presence at Reifen 2008 with a two level stand encompassing 170 m2 of exhibition space, displaying a wide assortment of premium and private brands. Blackstone, Novex, Federal, Hero, BCT, Silverstone and Sava were all exhibited.

VDB particularly concentrated on its Novex SUV Speed tyres, showing the wide range of SUV/4×4 tyres added to the Novex range during the last year. The SUV Speed is a very extensive line with sizes from 205/70/HR15 up to 275/40/WR20 and another 14 between them. The range boasts a very modern tread pattern, competitive quality/price ratio and the aforementioned wide choice of sizes.

Blackstone was the Dutch company’s other private European brand offering new sizes: added to the CD1000 range will be the size 165/65TR14 and the CD 3000 range will be extended with two sizes – 185/55VR15 and 205/50ZR17. During summer Blackstone CD Van range will be broadened with 205/65R16C, while over the course of this year the Van en 3000 ranges will be further extended with two sizes.

VDB also announced that the construction of its new 24,000m2 distribution centre in Hellevoetsluis had been finalised and the fitting of the internal logistic system had begun. The progress of the building’s construction is proceeding according to plan and it will be operational during the first quarter of 2009.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday VDB’s stand was transformed by the company’s Happy Hour. With the addition of a DJ, drinks and food, Happy Hour created a jovial atmosphere around the stand, helping to attract more visitors.
