New Manager to Help Goodyear Dunlop ‘Be First With People’
As of July Goodyear Dunlop has a new Training and Organisational Development manager in the UK. Erica Stocks has been appointment to this position and will be based at the company’s head office in Birmingham. Ms Stocks joins the company from leading UK vitamin and health food retailer Holland and Barrett, where she held a similar role. A varied career within the statutory, voluntary and private sector has seen her acquire 22 years experience in training and development.
With some 1,800 people employed by Goodyear Dunlop in the UK, the company believes the training and development of staff plays a pivotal role in its operations and is vital to the corporate ‘be First with People’ strategy. The new manager’s tasks will centre on the company’s commitment to staff development, particularly its leadership development programme. Goodyear Dunlop states its aim is to attract, train, develop, motivate and retain the best talent whilst cultivating exceptional leadership in all business areas.
“Part of my position includes the development and implementation of training to continually raise the bar within the organisation, helping Goodyear Dunlop continue to be a high performance organisation,” said Ms Stocks. “I work in training and development as it is very satisfying watching people grow and develop in their careers, learn new skills and develop into great leaders.
