Bridgestone has appointed Kumar Ash Sisodia as a business development manager for its First Stop network of independent tyre dealerships. Responsible for the ‘northern region,’ Ash will work with dealerships across the North of England and Scotland.
Ash brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked within Bridgestone’s consumer sales department as Area sales manager since 2000. Ash, alongside fellow business development managers, Chris Hawkins, Dean Dyoss and Steve Lane will expand the network of quality tyre dealerships which has seen a successful first half of the year.
Commenting on his appointment, Ash Sisodia said: “My previous eight years as area sales manager with Bridgestone has allowed me to build a wealth of business and product knowledge and this new role provides the opportunity to use my experience in consumer sales to tackle new challenges.
“I have also built strong relationships with dealerships across my region and I am looking forward to continuing to work in partnership with these dealers to help them grow their businesses.”
Mark Fereday, retail development manager for Bridgestone UK, added: “Following his time as area sales manager we are pleased to have the benefit of Ash’s experience in consumer sales and the region on the First Stop team. The network is currently being supported through a range of innovative promotions, including the free courtesy car scheme with Toyota and an in-store Grand Prix ticket promotion.”
