Dunlop Launches ‘Petrolhead Haven’
According to the tyre manufacturer, the Dunlop Drivers Club stand was one of Goodwood Festival of Speed’s highlights. As Goodwood sponsors, Dunlop Tyres brought Sir Stirling Moss back together with the C-Type Jaguar that he drove in 1953 and heard his fascinating thoughts on the introduction of Dunlop-invented disc-brakes and how life has changed for racing drivers over the last 60 years.
However, those that missed the live action at Goodwood can head to the newly launched web portal, www.dunlopdriversclub.co.uk where Dunlop will share their 120 years of experience on the road and track with driving and motorsport fans across the globe.
Dunlop Drivers Club is an online members site offering motoring news, videos, road tests and limited offers for anyone who loves the thrill of the drive. Read the latest road tests of supercars and hot hatches and Dunlop’s guide on how to drive Britain’s greatest racing circuits and get the chance to meet racing stars at Dunlop VIP events.
James Bailey of Dunlop Tyres said: “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is all about three days of glamorous cars and the glory days of motorsport. At Dunlop Drivers Club, members will have access to that same atmosphere where petrolheads can interact, share opinions, get the latest news and gain access to exclusive Dunlop promotions.”
Mark Hales, professional driver coach, Telegraph writer will be sharing his expertise exclusively with Dunlop Drivers Club members with masterclass articles on the art of successful track driving. Elsewhere you’ll find race to road tips, motorsport reports and the chance to have your say on new cars, hot trends and your favourite design elements.
