ITWS Introducing New Solid Range, Seeking European Dealers
The primary focus for International Tyre and Wheel Solutions (ITWS) at the Reifen Essen show was to highlight the new SG Revolution Cushion solid tyre range, and in particular to introduce the products to potential UK and European dealers. The company was seeking in particular dealers in a number of European markets, amongst them Germany, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands, and when T&A spoke to Sue Williams from ITWS during the show’s first afternoon she was already able to report receiving interest from potentially suitable dealers. Following the show she confirmed that the company had, in its goal, “achieved more success that we could have wished for.”
The SG Revolution Cushion solid tyres are available in a range of sizes between 20.5 and 25-inches. They are made in Thailand by the Hsinchu, Taiwan based Shun Gin Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. ITWS is the sole UK and European dealer for the company’s SG Revolution super cushion solid tyres, available in a wide array of sizes, for example from a 400-8 fork truck up to 35/65×33 for a cat 988 loader. These products are suited to an array of applications including terminal handler machines, forklifts, airport vehicles, skid steer loading and waste handling. The benefits of the SG tyres, says Sue Williams, include a maintenance free operating life that exceeds that of regular tyres, an absence of punctures and ease of steering.
The ITWS stand in Essen also reflected the firm’s status as a UK dealer for the entire Belshina range, and the company is also the UK dealer for tyre press and tooling equipment for fitting up to 25-inch tyres. This product line up, manufactured in Belgium and sold under the ITWS brand name, includes both static and mobile presses.
Subsequent to the show Sue Williams reflected upon Reifen 2008: “International Tyre & Wheel Solutions Ltd Exhibited here for the first time and had a great success. Both Les (Williams) and I where very grateful for the response from both current and future customers. We where exceptionally pleased with the feedback we have had since the show and would say 70 per cent of our visitors have made contact with us since the show ended.” Sue added that ITWS has already reserved its stand for the 2010 exhibition.
