Bandengroothandel Mast: Heavy Tyre Development
Netherlands based industrial tyre specialist Bandengroothandel Mast placed a particular emphasis upon its expanded range of very large, heavy tyres for port and quarry duties at Reifen 2008. A key product on display was the large industrial tyre from Tianli, the HarbourMaster. This item, says Mast, attracted much attention from visitors at the show. Company director, Sander Mast, stated: “During the past eighteen months we have extensively increased our activity within the large industrial sector of the market and can provide a very flexible and diverse selection of large patterns and sizes for busy port and quarry and mining environments. The Tianli HarbourMaster is a specialist harbour tyre complete with an L5 compound and extra deep tread which has already been very well received around the world in busy port working environments.”
Mast also promoted its entire range of CargoMaster and Liftguard private labels including solid; pneumatic, skid steer, extra heavy duty pneumatic skid steer and forklift tyres. Released last year and making their show debut at Reifen Essen were new additional patterns in the CargoMaster solid tyres range for skid steer. These products provide the benefit of side holes for extra comfort.
A further recent development in the CargoMaster range has been in the area of radial OTR tyres, for which smaller sizes are currently on offer including 20.5R25, 23,5R25. 26,5R25, 29,5R25. Larger sizes, 18.00R33 and 24.00R35, will be introduced during the course of this year.
“It was a positive show for Mast with a lot of quality interest (from around the world) being shown right across our entire product ranges, particularly in the larger tyres,” Mr. Mast added. “Meeting both established and potentially new customers, we were able to highlight the fact that all tyre orders can be mixed to an individual preference. For example a few OTR sizes and patterns plus forklift tyres.”
The company is currently looking to further establish its market presence in Europe and said it would welcome enquiries from quality partners in a number of countries including Germany, Northern France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia and the UK. The company also reports a new updated corporate website is in the final stages of development and will go ‘live’ in due course.
“Once again the Reifen Show proved to be the perfect international stage for Mast to promote its extensive ranges of industrial tyres,” concluded Sander Mast.
