Infinity Distributors Mix Business and Pleasure at ‘Partners Day’

The Infinity brand is one that steadily continues to gain momentum in Europe as a popular choice for competitively priced quality in the passenger car and truck sectors. The number of distributors that have been appointed in 25 countries throughout the region is growing and, towards the end of April parent company – The Al Dobowi Group in conjunction with their European associate – Goldspark Trading Limited, organised a special three-day dealership event for both new and existing distributors.

At the ‘Infinity Partners Day’ Infinity distributors from Europe, the UK and Ireland were invited to be the guests of Al Dobowi’s Chairman, Mr Surender Singh Kandhari and his family for a combination of business and recreation in the United Arab Emirates. Attendees came from all corners of Europe and included Bond International (UK), Kings Road Tyres (UK), Daly Tyres (Ireland) Kings Road Tyres (Ireland), Reifen Ruhdorfer (Austria), Fort Pneus (France), Intergomma (Italy), Distyre (Spain), Guitires (Spain), Heuver Banden (Netherlands), Euro-Tyre (Netherlands), AKH (Hungary) and Latex (Poland.)

The event centred around an informal business conference involving a series of presentations from the Al Dobowi Group and Goldspark, covering the development of the Infinity brand and future intentions in product expansion and marketing strategies. Distributors were encouraged to ask questions, voice an opinion and generally discuss their own ideas and thoughts on how Infinity could in future be further enhanced as a brand throughout Europe.

Rob Henderson, general manager of Goldspark says, “our intention is to significantly accelerate the brand profile of Infinity in Europe and by organising this first ever dealership conference we were able to bring together many of our European partners to let them get to know each other and have a general discussion about the brand’s future in relaxed, pleasant surroundings. There is no doubt that the event was a resounding success and Infinity can now move forward with even more confidence than before.”

Of course the trip to Dubai was not all business and guests also enjoyed a number of recreational activities, commencing with a lavish evening Gala Reception at Surender Kandhari’s residence in the Emirates Hills, Dubai. Other events included duty free shopping at the famous Mall of the Emirates which also accommodates Ski Dubai – the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East.

Perhaps, though, the highlight of the trip was a Desert Safari incorporating a roller coaster ride on the sand dunes followed by a visit to a Bedouin Campsite for a BBQ Dinner and authentic Arabic entertainment. On the final day there was a city tour taking in some of Dubai’s beautiful landmarks and, as a fitting finale, an evening Dhow Cruise Dinner.

The next ‘ Partner’s Day ‘ is scheduled to take place in Bangkok in two year’s time.
