Bosch Wins GEA Certificate of Appreciation
Barrie Flemming, Bosch Garage equipment product manager, received the GEA Certificate at the Garage Equipment Association (GEA) Dinner on 16 April. Bosch was presented in appreciation and recognition of valuable contributions to BEN – Motor and Allied Trade.
Bosch supports the charity as a media partner as well as many of their hosted events, throughout the year. These events are vital when increasing the awareness of the tremendous work that BEN provides, ensuring thousands of colleagues and friends receive the help that they need.
The most recent fundraising attempt for BEN saw a Bosch employee jump out of a plane. Jeremy Tollman, Diagnostics Business manager, completed a sponsored skydive to raise money for the charity in March, and managed to raise £700 from well wishing colleagues, family and friends.
“It was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone,” Jeremy said of his first 10,000 feet tandem skydive. “As well as the thrill of the actually jump, I am also extremely grateful to all of my work colleagues, friends and family who sponsored me, and whose money is going to a brilliant cause with BEN.”
