Following its premiere at the 2006 show, the Marangoni Village is set to return to the Reifen Essen 2008 exhibition. In effect this means the Marangoni Group will share a single stand at Reifen Essen exhibiting what company representatives call a “world of tyres.” The Marangoni Village will be located in hall 3: 235, and is expected to feature the latest news, products, technology the Marangoni Group offers.

Marangoni Car Tyres has an annual turnover of more than 80 million euros (80% in Europe; 20% in the rest of the world) and operates a manufacturing facility based in Italy (in Anagni, Rome). For its part, Marangoni Car Tyres will show visitors new products for both summer and winter ranges and also extensions to the most important ranges of High Performance Summer tyres.

Marangoni Retreading Systems, the group’s retreading materials and technology division, incorporates the Marangoni Tread, Ellerbrock and Eurorubber companies, who are recognised as leaders in the European pre-cured retreading market. According to the company, over a quarter of pre-cure retreaded truck tyres are manufactured using materials made by Marangoni Retreading Systems.

The Division has an annual turnover of more than 130 million euro (60% in Europe; 40% in the rest of the world) and operates six manufacturing facilities – three in Italy (two in Frosinone and one in Parma); one in Hamburg, Germany; one in Nashville in the United States; and one in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The total workforce of all facilities is 500 people, 350 in Europe and 150 in the other countries. Marangoni Retreading Systems is showing visitors its complete range of products, services and Marketing programs for both retreaders and road transport fleets.

Marangoni’s Commercial & Industrial Tyres specialises in the retreading of tyres for cars, 4×4, light truck, trucks and earth moving machinery and in making new solid resilient tyres, press on band tyres for forklift trucks and similar applications. This business operates through Marangoni Pneumatici based in Rovereto. Marangoni Pneumatici also distributes new Marangoni-branded heavy truck tyres, making “a product virtuous circle.” This company has an annual turnover of more than 80 million Euros and operates in three manufacturing facilities, two in Italy and one in Sri-Lanka with around 500 employees.
