TVS Srichakra, the number one motorcycle tyre maker in India, is focussing on promoting its “large programme of off-the-road (OTR) tyres for the export market” at this year’s Reifen Essen exhibition. The Indian manufacturer describes itself as a global player due to its distribution networks in Europe and USA; and major OEM accounts in Europe. In total the company and exports to over 55 countries in all the six continents. TVS Srichakra, with its “Eurogrip” programme for overseas markets, offers a wide range of off-high way applications, covering in excess of 400 stock keeping units.

In the agricultural segment, TVS Eurogrip offers the following range of service applications: Flotation; Farm Implements; Multipurpose; Small Tractor; Agriculture Trailers; Skidsteer; and Tractor Industrial. The range covers sizes as small as 8 inches, right up to 28-inch rim diameters.

TVS Eurogrip was accredited with ISO 9001 certification in 1996, which was further strengthened with the certification of ISO 14001, ISO 9001-2000 and TS 16949. The company follows practices like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Techniques. TVS Tyres won the prestigious TPM Excellence Award in 2003 and TPM Consistency Award in 2005.
