Infinity: Combining Quality with Competitive Prices
The Infinity brand is continuing to gain momentum in the UK and European markets on the back of its combination of quality and competitive pricing. Responsibility in Europe for this private brand label of the Dubai based Al Dobowi Group is handled by the group’s divisional company, London based Goldspark Trading Limited. The appointed manufacturer for Infinity is Shandong Linglong Rubber Company one of China’s best-known tyre producers. Reports indicate that Linglong will produce around 12 million passenger car tyres this year, and an additional 40,000 square metre production facility planned for 2009 will increase annual output to around 24 million tyres
Infinity’s high performance range includes the popular INF-050 UHP, designed to deliver good braking performance, extensive tread wear resistance and ride comfort through low noise. The INF-050 also features a reinforced bead to ensure safe handling on both wet and dry road surfaces. The current size range covers 16 to 18-inch rim diameter fitments, but plans are under way for additional 19 and 20-inch sizes.
New distinctive patterns and sizes in the Infinity summer range are now available, with the T rated option covered by the new INF-030 whilst the new INF-040 further enhances the H and V rated sectors. Initial response from Goldspark’s European distributors has been impressive and encouraging. Infinity’s objective is to provide a comprehensive range for the present – and the future, with its current van tyre size development being a perfect example. The new INF-100 pattern range now includes ’65 ‘ and ‘75’ series 16-inch sizes. At the same time the brand’s 4×4 range will also see the introduction of a new pattern, the INF-200, in the near future. The range will also introduce additional sizes that are suited to the demands of this expanding market sector.
Goldspark’s exclusive distributors in the UK are Bond International, and from the company’s main headquarters in Pocklington, North Yorkshire and various satellite warehouses throughout the country they provide an efficient and responsive distribution service along with a full product support programme.
Rob Henderson, general manager of Goldspark Trading, comments, “competition in the UK market is continually increasing but I am confident that when it comes to providing an impressive summer tyre range within an affordable price structure, Infinity will continue to be the popular option in the high performance sector.”
