Hankook Opens New US Distribution Centre

Hankook Tire America has opened a new distribution centre, this one located in Aurora, Illinois. It is Hankook’s sixth US distribution centre. “The addition of a Chicago distribution location allows us to better serve the Chicago metro area,” said J.R. Nottolini, Hankook’s Midwest regional director. “Will call is now possible in this region, allowing dealers to have product in their hands the next day, providing them with a wider variety of just-in-time inventory at their disposal.”

The new facility, said Hankook, will service retailers throughout the Midwest, which had previously been handled by the company’s centres in Tennessee and New Jersey. (Tire Review/Akron)
