First Stop Dealer Celebrates 50 Golden Years
Ken Riley of First Stop dealership, TyreCraft, recent marked his fiftieth anniversary in the tyre industry, First Stop business development manager Dean Dyoss was on hand to help celebrations along. Starting out as a casing inspector at the age of 19, Riley has enjoyed a varied career in the tyre industry. He quickly moved into a sales role working for Borough Tyre Company and ATS and cites setting up his own business as his biggest career challenge, but has never looked back.
Commenting on this key milestone, Ken Riley said: “I can hardly believe that it has been 50 years – I have worked with some great people and had an absolute ball along the way. The motivation has always been keeping customers loyal and watching young people come into the industry and progress. There have been a lot of changes over the years, but we have always been keen to move with the times. Being part of the First Stop network is a key part of this as we have the backing of a big company, combined with a good product.”
Dean Dyoss added: “Ken is testament to the success that can be achieved in tyre retailing. With a strong focus on service and standards, he naturally has a loyal customer base. We warmly congratulate Ken on fifty years in the industry and are pleased to work with the team at Tyre Craft as it continues to thrive.”
