Federal Exhibits in Essen for Fifth Time
Federal Tyres will be exhibiting in Essen for the fifth time this May (Stand 3-127). Federals presence will a range of the company’s products – from its Combat FZ-201 slick tyre, to its 595RPM and Formoza AZ01 asymmetric ultra-high performance tyres; and including its Formoza FD2 low noise tyre Himalaya WS2 studdable and studless winter products.
Federal’s latest offering is its 595 Evo, which according to the company, will eventually replace its well-known 595. Promotional literature explains that the new Evo variant is aimed at the top end of the market and features “exceptional…groove within groove” water dispersion technology. This tyre is scheduled for production in over 60 sizes, fitting 14 to 20-inch wheels.
The Formoza FD2 replaces Federal’s FD-1 and reportedly features “D.P.E.T compounding techniques.” The tyre features a new tread pattern should sipes reduce noise levels and resist vibration. The new offering is aimed at two different market sectors in parallel: high performance in size 195/55R15 and 205/55R16; and in the touring segment – aspect ratios from 60 to 65 series, wheel diameters of 14 to 16 inches, with speed ratings up to “V.”
A selection of Federal’s Hero branded products will also be on-show at the company’s wide open 236 square foot space stand. These include: the Milanza HZ1 ultra-high performance tyre, Forza F278, Dynastorm A/T as well as the brand new Alpaza AS1 snow tyre.
