Australian ‘Drifter’ Nathan Weissel Teams Up With Federal Tyres

Federal Tyres has partnered with Nathan Weissel, winner of the 2007 NSW Drift Series, 8th overall in the Australian National Drift Series as his major sponsor. According to the company, the extreme performance of Federal’s 595 Competition Series has shown great resonance in action at 2008 Toyo Drift Australia Series at Symmons Plians Raceway.

Federal representatives told Tyres & Accessories they are honoured to be chosen by the frontrunner like Weissel, commenting: “Together we are a force to be reckoned with.” The Federal-liveried R32 Nissan Skyline of Nathan Weissel, an accomplished racing veteran, reportedly receives heavy camera attention at race meetings.

Asked how he felt about Federal tyres, Weissel answered: “I tried other brands but Federal Tyres are still my favourite. They give me the best level of grip and control and do not suffer with heat like other brands.”
