Hankook Puts Tyre Prices Up 5%

Hankook Tire Co. has announced plans to raise its prices 5 per cent from this month. Announcing the move, company executives refused to rule out any further increases. According to the Asis Pulse news agency, Hankook chief executive Heo Ki-yeol told journalists the company will consider increasing the prices again “if raw material prices reach an unmanageable level.”
