Paul James Tyres Now Accepting Used Tyres for Processing

Independent casing collection and processing company Paul James Tyres reports it is the only active licensed tyre processor in the county. From a busy headquarters in Islip, near Kettering, the company offers an expert in-house grading facility that caters to clients based in a designated area down the A1/M1 motorways to north London, and reports positive feedback from a growing client base regarding its environmentally friendly tyre disposal options.

Paul James Tyres primarily concentrates on car tyres and is able to offer a unique virtual wire-free (99 per cent) shredding process courtesy of a series of state-of-the-art machines. The wire-free rubber crumb is then sold to a number of industries, including the equestrian market. In addition to this service, the company has recently announced a new, additional service – tyre businesses, including small operators with their own transport, are being welcomed to deliver their used tyres for processing. “Our established collection service will continue as usual but now we can also accommodate deliveries of used tyres at the same time,” commented managing director Paul James. “A weighbridge has recently been installed to cater for the new service.”
