MAM Launches Autocat+ Version 5
Aftermarket software developer provider MAM Software is about to launch the latest version of its electronic catalogue solution Autocat+ Version 5, which provides motor factors and retailers with new tools for improving the identification and selection of automotive components from a range of over 170 aftermarket suppliers.
In this latest version, product identification will be improved with the introduction of a number of enhancements including improved data matching, VIN decoding and full-text note searches.
The additional scrutiny of additional data fields such as engine code, door plan, BHP, exact cc and valves will greatly help to improve search accuracy. VIN decoding (where available) will clarify inaccuracies in build dates and a full-text search of supplier notes will help users pinpoint the correct part to supply.
To date, the Autocat+ software is used at over 900 locations by over 4,300 users, the vast majority of which benefit from having full integration with their Autopart (v17 and v20) management software. Autocat+ has been integrated with other automotive management solutions and is also available as a stand-alone solution.
