Double Coin Joins TRIB

Double Coin has joined the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB), bringing TRIB’s membership to 480 members in 48 countries. Double Coin has joined under the banner of China Manufacturer’s Alliance (CMA), the US cooperative that names a number of Chinese brands within its ranks.

“TRIB continues to grow internationally as more and more companies in the new tyre and retread industries throughout the world realize that TRIB is the only international retread industry association representing new tire manufacturers, retreaders and tyre repair companies,” said Harvey Brodsky, TRIB’s Managing Director.

“We especially appreciate the support we receive from new tyre manufacturers such as Double Coin/CMA, LLC since it underscores the importance they place on retreading as part of the life cycle of a tyre,” he added.

According to Brodsky, Nearly every major new tyre manufacturer in the world is now a member of TRIB.

China Manufacturers Alliance (CMA) unites major tyre manufacturers in China under a unique and powerful cooperative alliance. According to the operation’s website, “this alliance forms a high-energy cooperative force in the American and European tyre marketplaces.

CMA product lines include Radial & Bias Light Truck tyres, Radial, Bias Medium Truck and Intermodal tyres, Industrial, OTR/Grader and Skidsteer tyres under the brand names of Double Coin, Dominator, Warrior, and ArmPower.
