CMA & Double Coin Announce New Brand Image
A new look is being rolled out by CMA, LLC and Double Coin tyres in the US by way of a new logo design and brand positioning. The new image, reports the North American distributor of the Chinese made brand, represents the changing dynamics of the organisations and the products, while the new logos provide the backbone of a new marketing campaign and strategy.
“The new CMA logo will match our business target of a progressive, modern corporation” CMA’s president, Mike Yang, said. “CMA’s business has changed since its formation as an organisation in 1997. This new logo represents our growth and future direction.” Aaron Murphy, vice president of CMA, added: “CMA has been known as a cutting-edge manufacturer and supplier. As we energise our marketing and manufacturing to position ourselves as a Tier 2 supplier, the perception of our image must match.”
The new, CMA logo is designed to represent an evolution taking place behind the scenes for several years – the transformation of a company from simply a tyre manufacturer into a full-service business solutions provider. Likewise, the Double Coin logo has been revised to represent the “rich heritage the brand has enjoyed in North America and abroad,” says the company.
“With the growth of Double Coin truck and bus radial products in different segments of the market, we felt it was time to communicate to consumers that Double Coin products are not simply a cost alternative, they are a value alternative,” said Murphy. “No matter what the size or type of end user, dealer, or purchaser of our tires, it’s a prudent, value-based decision that equates into intelligent management when you partner with us. It signifies performance that delivers smart money results while supporting our company’s image as a solutions provider.”
The formation of Double Coin’s Giant Radial Off-The-Road group, with direction from individuals who have product development, sales knowledge and customer relationships, has been paramount to Double Coin’s growth in the market. Double Coin has also formed a dedicated group that is marketing truck and bus radial products to medium and large fleets, truck and trailer OEMs as well as truck stops and other service related entities. This group focuses in on the needs of the transportation industry’s end-users and how Double Coin products and services assist in managing their business. Growth in this arena is, says CMA, strategic to Double Coin’s fulfilment of its brand mission.
“The experience within both these groups for these types of marketing efforts is deep and well beyond what any other TBR/ROTR manufacturer/marketer from China can provide,” says Murphy. “With the acceptance of the products at North American OEMs comes validation that the products perform up to customer standards and opens opportunities for Double Coin to assist in reducing operational costs to end-users.”
