£400,000 Contract Win For Bandvulc
Ivybridge-based Bandvulc Tyre Contracts (BTC), the management arm of the Bandvulc Group of Companies, has won a major new contract from Axis Intermodal, one of the leading European hirers of Trailers, Trucks, Rigids and Intermodal Swap Bodies. The new deal is worth an estimated £400,000 per annum.
BTC will manage Intermodal’s 5,000-strong fleet across the UK and Europe delivering real time cost savings through a comprehensive package of benefits. One such benefit is the ability to provide specific recharge reports, enabling Axis to monitor and control damaged tyres.
Axis Intermodal UK Operations Manager Bob Harrison says: “It’s all too easy to offer high levels of services and expect the customer to accept less when the agreement starts. We were encouraged to go with BTC as they have a reputation for delivering what they promise. We are in a competitive market and need to have a reliable tyre management service which is tailored to our specific requirements. BTC met all of our criteria and offered innovative solutions.”
Jim Beddall, Regional Sales Director of Bandvulc comments: “BTC was chosen by Axis Intermodal on the basis of its proven track record of reliability, integrity and commitment. We look forward to enjoying a fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship with them.”
