Allparts Chooses Autopart For Future Growth
Allparts Automotive Ltd, a major UK automotive parts distributor and founder member of the UK Parts Alliance, has committed to implementing MAM Software’s Autopart management solution as part of its on-going strategy to develop and grow its business. It will provide the company with state-of-the-art customer service technology, as well as specialist back-office management tools, giving staff at its High Wycombe head office improved visibility and tighter control of operations at its eight distribution centres across the north and west home counties.
In a recent communication to employees, Mark Darvill, Managing Director of Allparts, explained the decision to partner with MAM: “This new software will deliver many advantages to our business as we continue to grow and change in the future. It will provide a host of additional benefits throughout the business from point-of-sale, product management and reporting, through to warehousing, distribution and e-commerce.”
Mike Jamieson, Managing Director of MAM Software commented: “Allparts Automotive is a very successful and capable company with a clear ambition to succeed. We are delighted that they have chosen our software as their platform for future growth. It demonstrates the strength of the Autopart system and underlines how well the software is able to handle the complex demands of a multifaceted business.”
The new Autopart system will operate ‘live-on-line’ with servers located in a new dedicated hosting centre at Allpart’s High Wycombe head office. A new resilient inter-branch communication network is to be installed and the hardware will be supplied complete with a full disaster recovery setup and separate development and training server. These will be delivered during the coming weeks and the first training terminals will be installed early next year. Rollout will commence shortly afterwards and the new system is anticipated to be fully operational mid-year.
