Vipal Using Local Partners to Grow in Eastern Europe
Retreader Vipal has placed a focus upon expansion in Eastern Europe this year, and this growth has greatly aided by the company’s decision to work alongside local market partners. The company reports that in Poland it has this year worked with the company PPH TOR SP. ZOO, who it says has been one of its important partners in the retreader’s expansion in this market.
“We are happy in cooperating with a company such as VIPAL, which is, without a doubt, one of the biggest references in tyre retreading worldwide,” said Mr. Andrzej Zawisza, co-owner of TOR. The Polish company was founded in 1946 and has operated a retreading capacity since 1991, three years before its privatisation and acquisition by Mr. Zawisza and business partner, Roman Klak. The two men have invested significant sum in building up the firm into a company with a national reputation for innovation, and TOR has grown accordingly while offering high quality retreaded tyres. Mr. Roman Kłak confirms that “VIPAL’S goals for the European market are similar to TOR’S goals in Poland, especially its product quality and level of services which are offered.”
