Michelin Upgrading Canadian Plant

(Akron/Tire Review) Michelin North American announced that it will spend some US$4.2 million on upgrades to its Granton, Nova Scotia, plant. MNA Chairman and president Jim Micali made the announcement during an appearance at the Pictou County Chamber of Commerce on November 8.

Micali reportedly said the funds will be focused on improving overall production, and that new product lines may be added to the plant. Earlier this year, MNA announced expansions Waterville and Bridgewater tyre plants.
