Volkswagen Approves John Bean 3D Arago Wheel Aligner

Volkswagen Group has approved the John Bean Visualiner 3D Arago wheel aligner for all vehicle marques under the Group’s umbrella. John Bean, a brand within Snap-on Equipment, has reportedly developed a special version of the alignment system to meet VW’s exacting standards. As a result all authorised service centres can now carry alignment work to OEM specification.

Designated VAS 6421, the 3D wheel aligner combines the latest camera and computer technology with simple step-by-step operation, enabling technicians to carry out the alignment process with speed and precision. A further benefit of the VAS 6421 is the facility to perform active cruise control and land departure warning calibration via a single camera with the alignment targets remaining on the wheels.
