Hankook Tire America Launching New Tyre, Sizes at Truck Show

(Akron/Tire Review) Hankook Tire America Corp. plans to unveil its newest medium truck tyre and extensions to existing lines at this week’s Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.

New is the Hankook TL01, a trailer position six-rib radial. Hankook claimed the new tyre delivers low rolling resistance for fuel economy and long life, has multi-angled siping for wet traction, and a groove on the outer rib for irregular wear resistance. The tyre also has stone ejectors to protect against stone drilling.

The TL01 is available in sizes 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 295/75R22.5 and 285/75R24.5.

Hankook is also adding sizes to existing truck tyre lines, including: AM02 – 445/65R22.5, AM06 – 315/80R22.5 (10,000 lb. load capacity), and AH12 – 275/70R22.5
