Truck Racing Heads to Dunlop’s Great & British Festival
The Dunlop Great & British Festivals heads to Thruxton for a “larger-than-life” weekend of racing on 21 & 22 July. For a second year, the Dunlop Great & British Festivals will be at Thruxton and the UK’s biggest supported one make series will form the core of the action at the event. Alongside the core ‘Great & British’ Championships of the Dunlop Radical EnDuro, the Dunlop Radical BiDuro and the MINI Challenge, will be the British and International Truck Racing Championships.
Over twenty race trucks are expected to take the grid at Thruxton for what has become the showcase of truck racing in the UK. At the Dunlop Great & British Festivals, British truck teams will be joined by many European entrants who are competing for the International Cup.
During the lunchbreak, these thundering vehicles will hit the track offering spectators a fantastic parade of trucks from across the UK and Europe. At the Dunlop Great & British Festival event at Thruxton, race fans can get closer to the action and will be given the chance to do a ‘grid walk’ and stroll around the pit lane.
Lisa Davison of Great & British stated: “The Dunlop Great & British Festivals have always offered spectators variety in motorsport and the returning truck racing championships are expected to draw large crowds at this event.”
