It has been reported that the woman who may – or may not – one day be queen can boast of an ancestor employed in the most noble of industries. According to reports printed in various UK publications, genealogist Robert Barrett has uncovered that some of Camilla Parker Bowles’ antecedents were working class folk from Essex, including her great grandfather. “He’d been working on a factory assembly line,” said Barrett. “On his death certificate it states his job as ‘rubber tyre maker’.”
