TIA Commits to Second CTRRC

(Akron/Tire Review) As expected, TIA will hold a second Commercial Tire, Retread & Recycling Conference (CTRRC). The 2008 event, again held in conjunction with the larger and well-attended Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition, will take place in Orlando on Feb. 5-7.

“We are very pleased to be working again with our colleagues at the American Trucking Association,” said TIA executive vice president Roy Littlefield. “We believe this combination of organizations gives both groups a great educational and networking opportunity.”

In addition to TIA-run commercial tire, retreading and tire recycling seminars and events, CTRRC attendees will again be able to attend the TMC show, which draws fleet executives and maintenance managers from around the continent. The 2008 event will be held at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, and there has been some talk that exhibit space has been enlarged to allow for more CTRRC exhibitors.

TIA said that more details on the event will be forthcoming.
