Rosehill Increases US Export Business
Investment of over £4 million in new plant and machinery has seen Rosehill Polymers achieve a 50 per cent growth in export sales of its TPV range of Infill and Inplay products to the United States this year. Recently as many as 28 in one single month, as the company continues to satisfy America’s insatiable appetite for its products.
Rosehill Polymers, based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire has developed its new TPV granular product to be used as either a bonded top layer for multi-sports and play surfaces or as a loose infill for synthetic grass pitches. It is now available in a range of 16 different colours, which can be used in applications including soccer pitches, running tracks, grid-iron football pitches and children’s play surfaces.
In addition to their TPV range, they utilise around 4,000 tonnes of recycled tyre rubber, equivalent to 1 million car tyres annually, most of which is converted into rail crossing panels bonded under high pressure with a unique Flexilon polyurethane binder system developed in house.
Rosehill have just appointed a new research and development director Dr. Wayne Stevens who will utilise his wealth of polyurethane and elastomer experience in order to take full advantage of this momentum and exceptional growth opportunity. Waynerecently worked at SSL International.
