GPX Appoints New Head of Supply Chain
GPX International Tire Corporation has announced the appointment of Glenn D. Booth to the position of global director of supply chain management, a role he commenced on June 4. He joins the company from Coca-Cola Enterprises, where he served as a regional director of logistics.
“GPX is delighted that Glenn has joined our growing team and we look forward to harnessing his supply chain, logistics and consulting experience to foster and enhance our supply chain and logistics operations” stated Bryan S. Ganz, chairman of GPX. “Through Glenn’s extensive background, he will help GPX to facilitate and implement a positive solution to our current and future supply chain management challenges.”
GPX CEO Robert Sherkin added: “Our manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Our production expansion efforts will continue to move forward at a very fast pace as we continue to invest in production of radial agricultural tyres, radial truck tyres and radial off-the-road tyres. Our sales teams now service virtually every continent. In order to make everything move smoothly from production to our warehouses and to our customers, the need to fortify our Supply Chain Team with an individual as highly qualified as Glenn became apparent.
