TIA Accepting Board Nominations

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced it is accepting nominations for service on the 2007-2008 Board of Directors. Nominations and self-nominations are welcomed from “any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association.”

Nominations must be submitted by April 20, 2007, and nomination forms can be obtained from the TIA website www.tireindustry.org or by telephone within the US. The TIA identifies itself as an international organisation, and the organisation’s executive vice president Roy Littlefield states that “TIA is looking for members who are committed to the growth of the tyre industry. Becoming a volunteer member is a major time commitment with conference calls and meetings throughout the year. We believe the investment of time is definitely worth the experience members receive that are elected to the Board.”
