Siemens AG Prepares For IPO

(Akron/Tire Review) As part of its plans to create an initial public offering (IPO), Siemens AG will re-establish its automotive group as Siemens VDO Automotive AG.

The unit will operate as a standalone corporation but remain a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens AG.

No date has been set for the actual start of the IPO.
