Sibur – Russian Introduce New Heavy Vehicle Tyres
Russia’s leading tyre producer Sibur-Russian Tyres has announced the introduction of their latest range of all-steel truck tyres, TyRex AllSteel and a new range of traditional combined truck tyres, TyRex CRG. The TyRex AllSteel Range employs metal cord construction techniques to provide lower cost-per-mile and increased overall mileage. The result is a tyre that is highly suited to high-speed and long distance driving. Furthermore, Sibur report that the carcass can accommodate multiple retreading.
Sibur-Russian plan to modernise and expand the production facility where the AllSteel is manufactured, and following the completion of this upgrade production capacity for the TyRex AllSteel line-up will reach 370,000 units per year. The AllSteel range is available in the following types and sizes:
AllSteel Ya-607 (385/65R22.5) for trailer and semi-trailer driving axles and also for heavy-duty truck steer axles
AllSteel Ya-626 (295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5) – for heavy-duty truck and bus steer axles
AllSteel Ya-636 (295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5) – for heavy-duty truck and bus driving axles
AllSteel Ya-646 (275/70R22.5, 295/80R22.5) – for driving and steer axles on city, suburban and intercity buses
AllSteel Mix Ya-656 (315/80R22.5) – for heavy-duty trucks such as those used in construction engineering and roadwork
The TyRex CRG range feature a tread design especially developed by Sibur-Russian and a low rolling resistance coefficient, providing long tread life and good wet and dry grip qualities. The range is available in numerous sizes.
