Shanghai to Host Rubber & Tyre Expo
With the Chinese and Indian tyre industries proving to be the most rapidly transforming, the Asian region is one that has the attention of industry players and observers worldwide. According to 2005 statistics these two countries account for almost 30 per cent of the natural rubber produced globally each year, with much of this rubber ending up in tyre production.
The 2nd China/Asia Rubber & Tire exhibition, to be held in Shanghai on April 18 & 19, 2007, promises, according to its organisers, CMT, to provide many insights into the nature of these two fast growing and dynamic markets. Topics to be covered during this two-day gathering include the sustainability of China’s economic growth, the latest developments in Vietnam’s tyre industry, Asia’s radialisation trends and prospects and retreading trends and future developments in Asia.
CMT state that a panel of leading industry experts will share their views with attendees, and that the conference offers an excellent opportunity to network and exchange information with fellow industry players.
