New All-Position Radial from BFNAT

(Akron/Tire Review) Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire has launched the Bridgestone M860, and all-position on/off-highway medium truck radial, targeting refuse and severe-service trucks. BFNAT said the new tyre was designed to “deliver outstanding tread life, durable beads and sidewalls” and is highly retreadable.

BFNAT said the new tyre has a wider tread and wider casing that “spreads load over a larger area” for longer tread life and higher loads, up to 20,000 pounds on steer axles.

The tyre also features a two-ply nylon/one ply steel chafer, abrasion-resistant sidewall ribs, a cut/chip resistant tread compound, stone ejectors in the center grooves, an all-steel casing, and computer designed tread pattern for traction.
