Marangoni Ringnet Expands in Eastern Europe
(Akron/Tire Review) The Marangoni Ringnet network is steadily expanding throughout the U.K., Iberian peninsula, Germany, Scandinavia, Benelux and central and eastern Europe, according to Marangoni Retreading Systems. Ringnet is Marangoni’s European network of retreaders and dealers of Marangoni Ringtreads. The network was officially launched in Italy at the Autopromotec exhibition in May 2005.
There are new members from different counties nearly every month, Marangoni said. The most recent additions, in late 2006, included retreading businesses from the Czech Republic (Pneu Carling), Poland (ATB Truck S.A.) and Bulgaria (Primex Ltd).
Ringnet “allows manufacturers to offer their customers a uniform and very high-quality product all over Europe, obtained using the state-of-the-art Ringtread technology, including shearographic inspection, as well as providing a series of services aimed at finding top-flight solutions for reducing the overheads of transport fleets,” stated Marangoni in a release.
Ringnet retreaders also benefit from being a part of a network, while, at the same time, maintaining their independence from new-tyre manufacturers, the company added.
The next event for Ringnet retreaders will be held in Brazil this spring, at the first major international convention in Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, Marangoni said.
