MAM Software Launches Autocat+ v3.0
MAM Software has introduced Autocat+ v3.0, the next major release of its popular electronic parts cataloguing software for motor factors, accessory retailers and parts distributors. This introduces a number of significant enhancements to the application and further extends its functionality.
With its new engine code and bodystyle matching, this latest version of Autocat+ continues to make significant steps towards ‘first-time-fit’. Where available, Autocat+ will match the engine code and bodystyle provided by the VRM lookup to data provided by component suppliers. By automatically highlighting matching components, this latest functionality improves the speed and accuracy of identification.
With the introduction of a new notes program, users can now gain access to component suppliers’ technical notes in PDF format. Whenever available, Autocat+ will automatically indicate the availability of documentation. It can then be downloaded, viewed and printed as required.
Autocat’s new logging routine provides a simple mechanism for raising enquiries regarding the component or VRM data. From within Autocat+, users can relay messages directly to MAM regarding a particular part number or application. After consulting the appropriate supplier, MAM will amend the data as necessary and a will post a reply back to the application.
The latest edition of Autocat+ benefits from a number of interface and operational enhancements including: Data update report; larger product images; buyers guide enhancements; exhaust quick lookup; extended VRM display; user specific passwords and a what’s new report.
Autocat+ v3.0 is available now to both new and existing users. Existing Autocat+ subscribers will automatically receive a free upgrade of their software. They can check their current version by referring to the title bar of the application.
