Hi-Q Becomes Approved Supplier to Avonline Telecoms
National fast fit operator, Hi-Q Fleet, has secured a major contract to supply the tyre management service to an expanding telecommunications installation company. Avonline plc, based in Ashton Vale in Bristol, is one of the UK’s leading installation contractors and has a fleet of over 600 vehicles which cover the length and breadth of the UK.
Hi-Q is now the approved supplier for the company’s entire tyre repair and replacement requirements which will be provided by Hi-Q’s nationwide network of service centres. Bob Tredgett, Hi-Q’s Business Development Manager, said the contract was excellent news for the business.
“We have been a supplier to Avonline for a number of years but it was on a smaller scale. They recently decided that they wanted one company that could provide a complete tyre management service – taking the tyre maintenance and repairs off their hands and we were delighted to win the tender.
“We manage the complete tyre service of their fleet and then provide a full report to the customer which gives details of number of tyres we have replaced, the top 50 sizes, reason for replacement and tyre life etc. are pleased to be working with an expanding company like Avonline and we look forward to continuing to work with them as the business grows,” he adds.
Alan Thatcher, Fleet Manager at Avonline, said: “Selecting the right tyre supplier to support our business is vital and we believe Hi-Q can provide us with an efficient and professional service. e are looking forward to continuing to develop our relationship with Hi-Q,” he added.
As part of its on-going policy towards maintaining standards for all its fleet customers, Hi-Q operates a Local Service, National Standards Programme throughout the UK, with every Hi-Q employee working to the same high standards of service
