ATS Euromaster Renews Driving School Contract
The nationwide driving school BSM, part of the RAC, has signed a new one-year contract with ATS Euromaster for the provision of new tyres and tyre services. The contract covers BSM’s fleet of over 3,500 dual control vehicles – the largest of its type in the UK.
The fleet is made up of Vauxhall Corsa and Astra models, and while the school frequently updates their fleet – significantly reducing the number of tyres that need replacing due to wear – the hazards inherent in instructing new drivers means that the number of tyres needing replacing due to damage is higher than average.
Mark Hooper, Fleet and Insurance Manager at BSM, says: “The primary reason for appointing ATS Euromaster to manage our tyres was its extensive branch infrastructure, which gives each of our 3,468 instructors easy access to a local centre, with a proven reputation for supplying a very high level of service.
“ATS Euromaster is also able to self-authorise requests for new tyres from its headquarters in Aston and provides us with a single invoice each month accompanied by a detailed report of all work carried out,” he adds.
ATS Euromaster has been BSM’s principal supplier of tyre services for over five years and fits the school’s vehicles with Michelin’s entry-level Ambassador range of tyres, which are stocked at each of its centres nationwide.
