Valley Tire Signs on as MRT Franchisee

(Akron/Tire Review) Charleroi, Pa.-based Valley Tire Co. Inc. has been signed as the newest Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) franchisee. Luc Minguet, COO of Michelin Americas Truck Tires, and Jim Stankiewicz, president of Valley Tire, made the announcement.

Valley Tire was founded in 1979 and operates retread plants in Charleroi, Pa., Windber, Pa., and Tonawanda, N.Y. It also runs 14 commercial locations throughout western and central Pennsylvania and New York. The company has 53 service trucks and 10 off-road trucks and offers emergency roadside service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
