Tyre Shop Fire Update

Online news sources have reported that the fire at a tyre business Rochford was at Triple XXX Tyres & Wheels. Auto Wired quoted owner Mark Dolden as saying: “We were working at the time when somebody smelt smoke. We got the extinguisher on it but it quickly became apparent it was bigger than that, so I called the fire brigade. There was probably about £50,000 worth of wheels in there. The building itself is worth around £350,000.”

Earlier Belfairs Tyre & Exhaust Centre in Leigh, Essex, sustained about £500,000-worth of damage, Auto Wired reported.
