New Firestone Tyre for Corvette

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire
has added two new sizes to its North American Firestone Firehawk™ Wide Oval™ tyre range– P245/40R18 88Y RFT and P285/35R19 90Y RFT. These tyres are designed to fit Chevrolet’s sixth generation of Corvette.

The new tyres incorporate run flat tyre technology that allows drivers to travel up to 50 miles at 50 mph in the event the tyre experiences a loss of air. The Wide Oval is available in 20 sizes.

At present these tyres are only sold in North America, and there are no plans for any European sales.
