Invitation to Discuss EU Regulations

Upcoming regulations such as those foreseen in the EC Directive on motor vehicles ( 70/156/EEC ) mean changes for the approximately 120,000 employees in tuning industry businesses across Europe. While they may be of benefit to the industry, the potential for legislative hampering of the industry also exists.

Persons concerned with the direction future EU policy regarding the tuning industry will take can attend a discussion forum with Dr. Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, Member of European Parliament. The forum, titled ‘The EU as a brake for innovation in the European Car & Tuning Industry?’ will be held on Wednesday 31 January in one of the salons of the Members Restaurant at the European Parliament, Brussels.
